This role is hands-on and varied, working across different pieces of equipment to make sure our production runs smoothly and the sewing team has what they need on time.

As a Print and Press Operative, you’ll play an important part in preparing and processing materials ready for sewing. You’ll be working with machinery daily, measuring volumes, and keeping everything on track to hit daily and weekly targets.

Flexibility is key – you’ll rotate between tasks and machinery depending on what the business needs, so no two days will be exactly the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery including:

Printers, Laser, Calendar, Flat Bed

• Monitor and measure volumes through the department to support efficiency.
• Ensure daily and weekly targets are met to keep production flowing into sewing.
• Carry out quality checks to make sure work meets the required standard.
• Flex between tasks and equipment depending on production priorities.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy, safe workspace.

About You

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is helpful, but full training will be given.
• Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Flexible and adaptable — happy to work across different machines and tasks as required.
• A team player who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing a good job.
• Able to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
