Celebrating Akuma Family successes

With a large and growing Akuma Family, we love to see the many successes achieved throughout the year, and we are proud of every one. Whether they are charitable acts or competition wins, we are supporting our family every step of the way. But we want to go a step further – we want to showcase your successes to the rest of the Akuma family! Make sure that you send your successes across to us on the socials by either tagging or using the hashtag #AkumaFamily, or by emailing them to us at socialmedia@akumasports.com.

The Akuma Beavers

Another huge success coming out of the Akuma family is the charitable milestone recently reached by the Akuma Beavers. The men’s and women’s 7s teams have supported Shooting Star Children’s Hospices since 2016, fundraising tirelessly by donating tournament prize money, hosting annual golf & cricket days, city lunches, lockdown quizzes and much more. The team’s fundraising journey does not stop at this colossal milestone, however, and are always actively looking for more involvement and partners. If any of the Akuma Family and beyond are interested, please don’t hesitate to contact the team!

Hydromarque LTD x Water Aid

Finally, we’re celebrating yet another charitable success! At the end of September, Hydromarque LTD rocked up to their regatta as the ‘Pump Pirates’ in their Akuma shirts in support of Water Aid. The event, organised by Anglian Water, raised over £140k. We’re very proud of the Pump Pirates of Hydromarque and loved to see their photos across the many social media platforms, we hope that you didn’t get too wet.
